Seemingly floating through your space, this pendant has glass shades similar in shape and look to that of bubbles. These glass ‘bubbles’ are created by blowing liquid glass into a fabric vessel, which in turn creates an unusual and unique shape, texture in the finish, and looking like a flow fabric shade, not rigid glass. The 73 standards are suspended using coaxial cable and composed in ambient groupings. 73 results from blowing liquid glass into a folded and highly heart resistant ceramic fabric vessel. The resulting shape has a formal and textural expression intuitively associated with fabric, which becomes permanent and rigid as it cools. A flat LED is positioned to fill the resulting volume with diffuse light, accentuating the volumetric perception of the piece. One of the technically most particular chandeliers created.
