Sputnik's launch was in 1957, but its influence on the "Atomic Age" of design through the 1960s and beyond is impressive. One item we still see today is called the Sputnik chandelier, a mid-century modern light fixture that boasts many arms. This is one of them, this Sputnik Chandelier was made with MURANO Glass. All aspects can be customized-hardware finish, dimension (including dramatic overall heights), and the most current LED illumination options. These unique shapes and colors can be only created using traditional hand-blown glass techniques. This piece can be installed directly to the ceiling or using an optional rod that extends to 12ft to bring the pristine glass teardrops even closer to your eyes. Having created custom chandeliers for over three decades, we specialize in bringing lighting concepts into reality, whether your inspiration comes from a rough sketch, an existing chandelier, our original concepts, or even your own creative imagination.
